Netmaker has just released v1.1, which comes with some fantastic new enhancements you won’t want to miss. Here’s the breakdown.
You can now specify domains in your Egress page, allowing you to specify both public and private websites that you wish to route via an Egress node. You’re no longer limited to IPs and CIDRs.
Along with this, we’ve overhauled the DNS system. You can now specify which domains to use from different DNS nameservers, and control which groups of devices and users will use these specific DNS settings.
In addition to Google and Microsoft, you can now use Okta as your IDP with Netmaker, to sync all of your users and groups.
You now have the option to require admin approval before devices can join a network, to give you an extra layer of security.
There are a few other enhancements worth noting from this release.
‍
Service User Management: Platform Network Admins can now add service users directly to networks.
